ELAN Corp. is a well-established company especially for microcontroller
products.
Until 2006, sales activities were mostly in Taiwan, China, India, the Middle
East, and countries in Europe. From 2007, we have become an exclusive distributor
for the Japanese market and since then we are gradually penetrating into
Japan.
Many ELAN parts have been actively used for our application. Elan parts
can also be found in many consumer products exported to Japan from China:
installation route for PC peripherals contributes a high percentage. ELAN
always ranks No.1 share in MCU in each region. In fact, we were using another
leading MCU brand previously for 8-bit MCU, however, we have stopped its
usage for having too many defects and poor quality. Now we only use ELAN
products.

The greatest advantage of ELAN is the cost. ELAN's cost is below half and
performance is comparable to the mentioned leading brands' MCU. You can
be rest assured that lead-time is also very short. Braveridge's designing
and production has been using a great amount of MCUs from ELAN, however,
we have never experienced having defective products until today.
